Winter

Towards the end of last year, I became interested in the Winter Solstice and all the stories and folklore that surround it… it’s quite a rabbit hole! It seemed like too much to look into right now as there is so much to explore, so that will be something I come back to later on.

However, it did give me a seed of idea for a few more miniature abstract paintings. I’m quite enjoying working on these small watercolour based paintings and, being as my shed studio is absolutely freezing at the moment, it’s nice to be able to work on these inside the house.
